StoreDesk

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 30, 2026

StoreDesk is an AI front desk for self-storage facilities. It is operated by Keelbrook Holdings LLC (“we”, “us”), 1725 Ada Lane, Little Elm, TX 75068. This policy explains what information StoreDesk collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Who this policy covers

  • Facility owners and staff who sign up for and use StoreDesk.
  • People who contact a facility that uses StoreDesk, by text message, WhatsApp, email or website chat, including prospective and current tenants. For this information, the facility decides how it is used, and we handle it on the facility’s behalf.
  • Visitors to getstoredesk.com.

Information we collect

From facility owners and staff

  • Name, email address, and phone number if you give one.
  • Your password, which we store only in scrambled (hashed) form, and two-step sign-in settings if you turn them on.
  • Facility details you enter: address, hours, units, prices, policies, lease wording and documents you upload.
  • Sign-in records, such as the time, IP address and device, used to keep your account secure.
  • Notification settings for the devices where you turn on alerts.

From people who contact a facility

  • Name, mobile phone number and email address.
  • The messages exchanged with the facility and its AI assistant.
  • Reservation, rental and lease details, including electronic signatures and the time and IP address of signing.
  • Payment status, such as whether rent is paid. Card details are entered directly with the facility’s payment processor; StoreDesk does not store card numbers.
  • Gate access codes issued for a rental.

From website visitors

getstoredesk.com does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability. The StoreDesk dashboard uses essential cookies to keep you signed in.

How we use information

  • To provide StoreDesk: answering customers’ questions, taking reservations, preparing leases for signature, sending payment links and gate codes, and showing facilities their conversations.
  • To send messages a person has asked for or that relate to their rental, such as replies, reservation and lease updates, rent reminders and account notices.
  • To keep accounts and the service secure, prevent misuse, and fix problems.
  • To meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Artificial intelligence

StoreDesk uses AI models to read incoming messages and write replies, using the facility’s own unit details, policies and documents. Message content is sent to our AI provider for this purpose only. When a conversation needs a person, such as a complaint, damage or a legal question, StoreDesk hands it to the facility’s staff.

Text messaging (SMS)

StoreDesk sends text messages on behalf of the facility a person contacted, for example replies to their questions, reservation and lease updates, payment links, rent reminders and gate codes. Message frequency varies with the conversation and the rental. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers, or text messaging opt-in data and consent, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver the messages for us.

Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to run StoreDesk, with:

  • The facility the person contacted, which can see its own conversations, tenants and rentals.
  • Service providers that work for us under contract: hosting and databases, file storage, text message and WhatsApp delivery, email delivery, AI processing, and error monitoring. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
  • Payment processors chosen by the facility, when a person pays rent or a deposit.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of people or StoreDesk.
  • A buyer or successor, if the business is sold or merged, under this policy’s protections.

How long we keep information

We keep information while a facility uses StoreDesk and for as long as needed for the purposes above, including records the facility must keep, such as signed leases and payment history, and records required by law. A facility can ask us to delete its data when it stops using StoreDesk.

Security

Information is sent over encrypted connections, passwords are stored hashed, and access to data is limited to people who need it. Phone numbers and email addresses are masked in our system logs. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information we hold.

Your choices

  • Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts from that facility.
  • Facility owners can update their account details in the dashboard, or ask us to correct or delete them.
  • If you contacted a facility and want to see, correct or delete your information, ask the facility, or email us and we will pass your request on.

Children

StoreDesk is a business service and is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and tell facility owners by email about significant changes.
